Flight Operations Coordinator


Brooks Airways is an exciting new addition to the Brooks Group. Brooks Group has been established for over 45 years and has expanded acquiring a long running CASA approved aviation business with a fleet of Learjet 35’s, King Air B200 and B1900D aircraft (soon to arrive Q4 2024) running out of our operational base at Perth Airport providing international, domestic medical air ambulance, air charter and cargo services.

We are currently searching for an energetic and self-motivated Flight Operations Coordinator to join our team working in our private FBO at Perth Airport, WA. This role will serve as the main point of contact and suit an individual with an aviation background. The role will be responsible for reviewing, actioning and responding to internal and external requests for multiple teams.     

The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator and a self-motivated team player who is highly organised, with a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Flight itinerary planning and preparation for both international medical evacuation flights and domestic charter flights
  • Integrate with our medical teams as a part of mission co-ordination.
  • Organise overflight/landing permit application, both international and national
  • Dispatch responsibilities – pre and post flight departure and arrival (where possible)
  • Co-ordinate with preferred aircraft ground handling agents/partners (FBO) to arrange services and develop SLA
  • Organise flight catering and fuel delivery. 
  • Monitor flight following, including crew communications and mission updates or changes where applicable. 
  • Manage customer inquiries and assist preparing quotations for charter flights.
  • Flight operation administration support as required for the flight ops department. 

Highly Desirable 

  • Dispatcher qualification or experience (Highly regarded)
  • Familiar with aircraft ground handling, dangerous goods and safety requirements.
  • Experience in using Air Maestro and or Foreflight software.
  • The ability to hold and maintain a valid ASIC
